Expanding the Heart’s Truth
Jupiter asks the question, What is the meaning of life?
And more personally, what is meaningful for my life? From that inquiry we are guided to expand, to reach for more, to elevate. Yet we must remain mindful not to move into greed or gluttony, not to stretch so far up and out that the tether breaks and we deflate.
With Jupiter we can experience unbridled hope and impractical optimism, swinging between expansion and contraction, sometimes even descending into moments of hopelessness.
Jupiter expands whatever it touches. In that way it is not always purely benefic. Jupiter amplifying Pluto or Mars qualities can be overwhelming. Expanding Venus or the Moon can become too much of a good thing.
The key with Jupiter is to expand the right amount, in alignment with our best version of truth. Ideally we live a generous and abundant life from a clear, grounded perspective. A little humility helps. We probably do not know everything.
We polish the rose-colored glasses just enough so we can perceive truth and reality with a gently softening glow. We embrace the role of the lifelong student of philosophy, meaning, and the things that truly matter. From our studies and travels through culture and experience, we teach what we know, hoping to elevate the viewpoint of others.
All of this without crystallizing into extremist positions, climbing onto a soapbox of inauthentic beliefs, or demanding loyal followers.
Jupiter entered the sign of Cancer on June 9. It stationed retrograde on November 11 at 25 degrees. Today, March 10, it turns direct (8:29 pm PDT) and will continue forward until it enters Leo on June 29, opening a new curriculum of truth.
Consider where the sign of Cancer lives in your chart. What house does it rule? Does it span more than one house? A house reflects the landscape of your psyche and how you imagine a particular area of life. From this place of inner experience and imagination, reality is created.
You have at least one area of life strongly influenced by Cancerian themes: nurturing, intuition, healing, home, family (in whatever way you define family), food, nourishment, and emotional connection.
This is where you are meant to go for more. No longer settling.
Since November you have been reviewing how this area of life operates for you. That review is now complete, and you can retrace your steps with a more expansive view.
If the review has been honest, you may have wrestled with a place in your life where you were ignoring the signals. There is more that you want. Perhaps some polarity medicine is required, calling in Capricorn-level boundaries.
If you have planets in Cancer, they have been touched by Jupiter’s light of expansion. It is time for them to operate at a higher frequency, more aligned with your deepest inner truth.
I believe that if we collectively expand into the truth of Cancerian unconditional love, and live from the knowing that we are all family, we could turn this Earth ship around.
Maybe that is just my Jupiterian fantasy.
It is also my truth.
What have you been pondering over the past four months?
And might you now be ready to manifest a more expansive vision of how we live together as family?
