Full Moon in Leo:
Authenticity at the Edge of Change
As we enter February, we are greeted by a powerful Full Moon in Leo. This lunation serves as a prelude to the eclipse seasons of the next two years, turning our personal and collective attention toward the axis of regal Leo and progressive Aquarius.
On February 17, we experience our first Solar Eclipse in Aquarius, at 29 degrees, within a potent stellium and forming a tense T-square to Uranus in its final days in Taurus. This eclipse is electric and unpredictable, calling for our highest Aquarian principles. Authenticity, awakened truth, and conscious choice will be essential as we navigate its disruptive potential.
Today’s Full Moon offers a balancing perspective. It invites us to align internally with the winds of change, to consciously express the most evolved qualities of both Leo and Aquarius, and to reflect on where less mature Leo traits, such as excess self-focus or drama, are ready to be released.
On a collective level, we are letting go of the legacy of entitled kings and hierarchical power, awakening instead to perspectives that benefit humanity as a whole. We are witnessing the completion of the Age of Pisces and propelling ourselves toward a truly Aquarian era.
Astrologers have long debated when the Age of Aquarius begins, or whether it is already underway. From my perspective, the Saturn-Jupiter cycle that began in 2020, along with Pluto’s journey through Aquarius from 2023 to 2044, strongly suggests we are entering an age defined by progress, technological innovation, and individual freedom woven into collective responsibility. As the Lunar Nodes move into Aquarius and Leo in mid-2026, the eclipses will further activate their unique ability to catalyze radical change and realign us with soul purpose.
Personally, this Full Moon places us on an energetic mountaintop. It is a moment to let go, to complete cycles, and to honor how far we have come. We are asked to reconnect with our creative potential while releasing excess self-orientation. Since mid-January, planets in Aquarius have been singing together in harmony, building toward the Aquarian Solar Eclipse. This unsettled, unpredictable vibration asks us to choose authenticity in thought, word, and action, and to remain open to changing our perspective.
What does equality truly look like? Are we willing to soften personal entitlement or pleasure so that there is more to share?
At its highest expression, today’s Full Moon and the eclipses ahead offer the possibility of a radical shift in consciousness, one where awakening feels within reach.
The world is not returning to the so-called good old days. Instead, we are being asked to shapeshift into an alternative reality where humanity evolves for the good of all.

The question about softening personal entitlement so theres more to share really lands. Its wild how this Leo-Aquarius axis makes individual expression and collective good feel like opposing forces when maybe they're not. Been noticing that tension alot in decisions around resource allocation at work.
